PROFILE

Mr. Walker is an experienced mediator and arbitrator having conducted over 900 mediation cases in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, hospital liability, employer liability, insurance, and civil rights. He is also Of Counsel with Kinchen, Walker, Bienvenu, Bargas, Reed & Helm LLC with over forty-seven years of practice in medical malpractice, products liability, insurance and employment law. He began his career as a law clerk for United States District Judge E. Gordon West for 2 years.

With a reputation for impartiality, Mr. Walker brings to the table a maturity in many areas of the law combined with a common-sense approach to resolution that enables him to reach out beyond the legal community. He is a Middle District of Louisiana ADR Panel Member; listed on the Louisiana Register of Qualified Civil Mediators; and 2022 Top Rated Alternative Dispute Resolution Lawyer in Louisiana by Super Lawyers®. His training includes Mediation of Employment Disputes at the University of Texas at Austin's Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution.

Additionally, Mr. Walker is a contributing author regarding construction litigation and medical/legal issues. He wrote an article featured by the Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors titled Mediation: How to Take Litigation out of the Construction Process. He was also an adjunct faculty moot court instructor for the LSU Law Center. In the past, he has volunteered as mock trial and BREC little league coaches, as well as volunteered for Boy Scouts of America and United Way.
