Keely Y. Scott

Keely Scott is a partner with Donohue, Patrick & Scott PLLC and a panel member of Perry Dampf Dispute Solutions. She brings approximately 23 years of litigation experience to her mediation clients.

She has successfully mediated matters involving individual and multi-party personal injury (including premises liability, auto liability, construction and industrial accidents and catastrophic injury), products liability, professional liability (including architects and engineers, accountants, physicians and other qualified health care providers, insurance agents and brokers, directors and officers, real estate appraisers, public officials and social services organizations), property damage, construction disputes and construction defect litigation, insurance coverage, maritime law, and mass and toxic torts. She is persistent and often utilizes creative approaches to resolution. As a result, the vast majority of her mediations end in settlement of the case.

Mrs. Scott has completed intensive mediation training at Pepperdine Law School’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, which U.S. News & World Report has ranked as the Number 1 dispute resolution program in the country for the past consecutive 10 years.

In her 23 years of practice, Mrs. Scott has successfully represented clients in jury and bench trials in Louisiana state and federal courts and in Texas State courts. She has served as national counsel for clients in many courts across the country. She has also represented professional clients before state administrative boards and commissions, the Louisiana Legislature and the American Bar Association and independently selected arbitration panels.
