After a few years of practice with both defense and plaintiff firms, he took on his own partnership as a personal injury attorney in 1981 with attorney John Naquin in Baton Rouge. His practice has consisted primarily of referrals of large, complex cases as well as an extensive array of maritime and Jones Act cases. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Ward began a mediation practice in 2004. He has been practicing law for 43 years and has participated in hundreds of mediations. He is now practicing as a litigation attorney with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys.  Mr. Ward’s mediation and legal experience uniquely qualify him to assist as a neutral in the resolution of any legal dispute.
