F. Scott Kaiser

Mr. Kaiser has been a practicing trial attorney in Louisiana’s state and federal courts since 1984. He was with Phelps Dunbar for 28 years where he was a partner in the Baton Rouge office. He continues to represent both plaintiffs and defendants in litigated cases from his own office today. He has participated in hundreds of mediations and numerous arbitrations throughout his career and is passionate about the effectiveness of formal mediations to get disputes resolved.

Mr. Kaiser has represented both plaintiffs and defendants as lead trial counsel and understands the challenges that wearing both hats impose. He has been a frequent speaker on numerous topics related to litigation, civil procedure and effective trial practice for over 30 years having addressed topics to the Louisiana Bar, Verbatim Reporters of Louisiana and the Louisiana Paralegal Association. He has served as a volunteer and judge for the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Lawyers in the Classroom Program and LSU Law School Moot Court competition.
