James H. Gibson

Jim Gibson is a founding member of the Lafayette, Louisiana law firm, Gibson Law Partners, LLC. Jim brings over thirty-six years of legal experience to his mediation practice. Jim has an extensive trial background/practice, having tried over 200 cases to verdict—over 60 of them before a jury. He also has extensive appellate experience in both State (all appellate districts and the Louisiana Supreme Court) and Federal Appeals Courts. Currently, Westlaw has over 150 reported rulings/decisions in all levels of Courts involving him. Jim has been involved in over 200 mediations.
