PROFILE

Mr. Love is Of Counsel with the Baton Rouge law firm, Schutte, Richardson, Eversberg, Cronin, Judice & Avocato L.L.P., and has worked extensively in insurance and tort litigation. He was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1984 and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court: Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. His legal background is extensive and deep within the insurance industry, representing both plaintiff and defense. He has tried over 200 cases, with many of those to a jury. Mr. Love was a Certified Public Accountant in Louisiana and began his career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse.

In 2008, Mr. Love completed training in Mediating the Litigated Case™ at the renowned Pepperdine University's Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. He also received mediation certification through A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center – University of Houston Law School.

Mr. Love is an experienced instructor on topics including Insurance, Accountant's Legal Liability, Third-Party Tort Claims, Worker's Compensation, Third-Party Coverage, Damages in Personal Injury Lawsuit and numerous mediation lectures. He is a distinguished fellow with the American College of Civil Trial Mediators® since 2012. He is also a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and member of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.

Mr. Love is married to Joan Brady Love. They are the proud parents of five grown children, Scotty, Johnny, Julie, Michael and Mary Margaret.
