John S. McLindon
Mr. McLindon has been with the law firm of Rainer, Anding & McLindon since 1989. He is engaged in a general law practice with a significant portion of his practice dedicated to construction law and litigation. He represents general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and owners. Mr. McLindon handles primarily commercial construction cases, as well as some residential construction. Mr. McLindon litigates cases in both federal and state court at both the trial and the appellate level. Over his 18 years of practicing law, he has consistently taken CLE courses in construction law and dispute resolution, including seminars covering the Private Works Act, the Public Works Act, the Miller Act, the New Home Warranty Act, AIA Contracts and many other construction topics. A frequent guest lecturer at Louisiana State University E.J. Ourso School of Business at both under-graduate and graduate classes, he has also lectured several times over the past ten years at continuing legal education seminars for attorneys.
