Katherine M. Loos
Ms. Loos has been a partner in the Lafayette firm of Briney & Foret for 26 years. She has extensive litigation experience - in both state and federal courts throughout Louisiana and in Texas. She has been involved in the successful resolution of a variety of disputes including toxic torts, products liability, premises liability, automobile liability, insurance, and workers' compensation. Ms. Loos has also worked extensively on the resolution of federal disputes involving intellectual property, specifically satellite signal theft. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants and has tried a wide variety of cases. Ms. Loos has tried dozens of jury trials in many of the state courts of Louisiana and in U.S. District Court.
