Margaret "Peggy" Landry
Ms. Landry has been with Perry Dampf since 2010. Before joining the panel, she owned the boutique architecture firm, Landry Architecture, LLC. Her practice specialized in developing coastal communities along the Gulf of Mexico, from Florida to the southernmost tip of Texas. Ms. Landry also owned Coastal Restorations, LLC, a heavy-construction company that provided project and construction-management services to various governmental entities in Louisiana. Before starting her own architecture and construction companies, Ms. Landry, who is also a licensed attorney, was an associate with the Jones Walker Law Firm in New Orleans. Her practice focused on construction and design contracts, real estate and other general business matters.
Ms. Landry handles mediations and arbitrations throughout Louisiana, with a focus on large, complex design and construction cases. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and American Institute of Architects.
In 2011 and 2012, Ms. Landry completed several intensive mediation courses offered by Pepperdine Law School’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, which U.S. News & World Report has ranked as the Number 1 dispute resolution program in the country for the past consecutive 8 years. The coursework included “Mediating the Litigated Case” and “Mediating Complex Construction Disputes”.
