Richard O. Kingrea
Mr. Kingrea has spent thirty years as a litigator in private practice in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and south Alabama. He has worked primarily in the areas of admiralty, railroad, and construction law. In addition to his experience as a litigator, Mr. Kingrea served as a program manager and in-house counsel for Halter Marine Services, Inc., a New Orleans based ship builder. His diverse personal and professional life has included being honored as an All American football player at Tulane and an eight year career in professional football (including four years as a NFLPA representative).
After receiving training at the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution, Mr. Kingrea mediated a wide range of disputes over the last three years. His experience includes Jones Act and other maritime claims, personal injuries, contract disputes, and harassment and abuse cases.
Mr. Kingrea, who is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Alabama, is smart, energetic and uniquely qualified to mediate a wide range of conflicts.
